Acnexus

Overview
The creators of Acnexus claim that this product is the most convenient, effective and affordable acne treatment in the world. As if that wasn’t strong enough, they also say that this formula is the first one-step product heal and prevent breakouts. A closer look at Acnexus reveals that this product contains 27 individual ingredients, making us wonder whether each ingredient is included at a concentration strong enough to cause any real effects. Even though we’d like to believe that one product can do it all, the research team at ClearSkinReviews.com tends to favor three-step systems as the best way to treat acne. But that didn’t stop us from giving Acnexus a closer look.

Featured Ingredients
Among the 27 ingredients featured in Acnexus, we didn’t find any of the proven anti-acne compounds known and certified by scientists to reduce acne and prevent breakouts. In fact, due to the fact that Acnexus does not contain any certified acne medications approved by the FDA for the treatment of acne, we wonder whether or not the company is in serious advertising violation for its strong claims.

That being said, it was interesting to note that Acnexus is positioned as an all-natural acne treatment. It contains the natural basis of Salicylic Acid (White Willow Bark), which is a novel idea, but we have no scientific proof that using White Willow Bark is any more effective or any safer than using Salicylic Acid, which has been manufactured and produced to be specifically targeted on acne. And while we would like to believe that a natural approach to acne would be preferable, we’re simply not sure that ingredients like Gotu Kola, Alfalfa, Chaparral, Bergamot Oil, Patchouli Oil or any of the other extracts will have any beneficial effects on acne. Since Acnexus does not include any scientific data on these ingredients, the only conclusion we can make is that most of these ingredients have not been tested for their effect on acne.

Web Site at a Glance
There simply isn’t much to the Acnexus web site. It contains one long scrolling page of information on the product, including the strong claims of superiority mentioned earlier. There are plenty of customer testimonials posted on the site, and the company claims that they have 25,000 ecstatic customers. But we noticed that none of the testimonials contain any names, so we have to wonder if they are simply made up for marketing purposes. In addition, the company claims that Acnexus is the most affordable acne product on the market, yet one bottle sells for $29.95, which is far more expensive than retail acne products. Plus, we have a problem with a company that claims to be affordable yet does not offer a free trial of its product.

Pros
- White Willow Bark (natural precursor for Salicylic Acid) may have anti-acne effects

Cons
- Does not contain any proven anti-acne ingredients

- No scientific information or research is posted

- We doubt the validity of the testimonials, since they lack real names

- No free trial offer

Summary
The concept of Acnexus (an all-natural acne formula) is admirable and intriguing. But after researching this product, we simply cannot endorse it. There are too many question marks, and they add up to make us skeptical about the effectiveness of this product for acne.
