I just recently weened my skin off of Proactiv because it was like "skin crack." It made my skin look and feel terrible, not to mention it made it really oily and extremely shiny, but, if i didn't use it, my face would blow up worse than it already was. So, I decided to try TriClear even though I didn't think it would work, plus I wasn't too thrilled that the set didn't come with a toner.. but oh well, it was worth a shot. Well, I got it.. used it, and the next morning my face was peeling. I figured my skin just needed to get used to it, so I continued to use it. The second day the oil and shine had completely vanished, my skin had already cleared up almost 70%, plus my skin was no longer peeling, was soft to touch, and was completely GLOWING with absolutely NO shine! Today will be my fourth day using it, though I am continuing to break out slightly.. but I figure it's the bacteria that had been trapped down deep and is now surfacing for removal. In my opinion, this stuff works awesome, even though it does have a nasty smell (like Halloween makeup) that makes me want to gag, but it's worth it if it helps my skin look and feel this good!
